Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and implement a scalable data platform that will serve as the foundation of the new platform for our SaaS product. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of a cutting-edge platform that will enhance our digital presence and improve customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, data engineering, and a proven track record of building data platforms that handle large volumes of data efficiently.
Scope of Work
- Outcomes / results are defined in collaboration with management. Elevates questions on direction or more complex issues and work is assessed from a longer term perspective. May train or mentor lesser experienced employees.
- Design and develop a scalable data platform to support analytics, reporting, and AI-driven functionality. This is a hands-on role where you will write code and define the architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, subject matter experts, and other developers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement data integration processes to ingest, clean, and transform data from various sources.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the data platform.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data platform performance and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and analytics.
