What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Specialist position at ONE80 INTERMEDIARIES INC?
We are seeking a Product Specialist to support the Product Department by serving as an internal resource for all lender placed insurance products and related inquiries. This individual would be responsible for a diverse range of duties such as account maintenance, document preparation, and client interaction along with supporting the Client Services Department by handling client inquiries around our auto and mortgage tracking services. Training will be provided to learn the products, procedures and use of proprietary systems used in this role.

Your Impact:
- Performs complex tasks pertaining to lender placed insurance programs.
- Researches and proofs insurance orders and cancellations for clients, maintains security and confidentiality.
- Supports clients with product knowledge, providing assistance with insurance placement, claims, and regulatory questions.
- Supports staff by providing product training; assists regional account representatives by participating in training demonstrations to existing clients, in-house or via conference call as needed.
- Initiates and coordinates system problem resolution and improvements with appropriate company personnel, including working with Programmers and/or Accounting on implementation, testing, and system updates.
- Performs diverse range of duties as needed, such as project management, assisting other personnel, and collections activities for past due clients.
- Driven to meet deadlines, complete work in line with service level agreements, maintain required QC review standards and complete data input with a high level of accuracy.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- 3-5 years of experience in a call center, customer service role and/or a data entry environment.
- 3-5 years of insurance industry experience preferred.
- Ability to complete Property and Casualty Insurance Producer’s License within 90 days of hire.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word; ability to learn and use additional applications, systems, and websites.
- Strong skills in all the following – analytical, organizational, communication, problem solving and decision-making.
- Professional appearance with high ethical standards and a team player attitude.

At One80 Intermediaries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay for this position is $20.00 per hour plus discretionary bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
