Job Summary
Operations Associate II is responsible for being there when our customers need us most and performing activities and completing processes in support of ILFS products & services. ILFS Operations provides support to the division by performing all servicing aspects required to administer life insurance policies and annuities.
These duties often entail system maintenance, customer communication, escalation management, agent support and other business support. Therefore, it is critical that the Associate II adopts an outside in perspective and performs their role with urgency and empathy, ensuring we understand the client's expectations and exceed them.
What Will You Do:
- Prioritizing your workday to maintain both volume and quality production goals.
- Process transactional service requests and assist clients.
- Support agents and informational requests needed to service clients.
- Handle escalations and manage any required communication.
- Maintain documentation and procedures for areas of assigned responsibility.
- May participate in some projects and help deliver training.
What Will You Need:
- College degree preferred.
- Or 2 yrs. insurance experience in operations, customer service, or financial services preferred.
- Series 6 licensing is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight as well as in a team setting.
- Must be a self-starting and motivated team player who is able to efficiently become skilled at new systems and effectively manage deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. High School Diploma required.
Salary Band: 03A
This selected candidate will be expected to work Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
