Marketing Internship duties may include :
As a marketing intern, your role encompasses a variety of tasks designed to support the marketing team and contribute to the overall success of the company's marketing strategies. Here are some of the general duties you may undertake :
Market Research
Conducting market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations based on research findings.Content Creation
Supporting the development of marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and social media posts.Assisting in the creation of engaging content for various digital platforms, including blogs and websites.Collaborating with designers and other team members to produce multimedia content.Social Media Management
Monitoring and managing company social media accounts.Creating and scheduling posts to enhance brand visibility and engagement.Analyzing social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.Campaign Support
Assisting in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events.Coordinating with external vendors and partners.Tracking and reporting on campaign performance.Administrative Tasks
Maintaining and updating marketing databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and organizing marketing materials.Providing general support to the marketing team as needed.Additional Details :
11-week paid summer internship (May – August)40 hours per week, Monday-FridayAll work is expected to be hybrid, mandatory 2 days in office.Housing or stipends are available for eligible candidates.Requirements :
Currently enrolled in an accredited institution towards a 4-year undergraduate degreeMust be authorized to work in the United StatesCompleted at least 2 years towards a bachelor's degree.Preferred areas of study Marketing, Business, Communications or related degree.Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higherTo be considered for the Marketing Intern position, candidates should meet the following qualifications : Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with social media platforms.Experience : Previous internship or coursework related to marketing is preferred but not required.Attributes : Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Technical Skills : Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation tools is a plus.Team Player : Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
This selected candidate will be expected to work in a Hybrid environment in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office as business needs dictate or for team building and collaboration.
