Attorney - Medical Malpractice Defense

Prominent law firm is seeking a Medical Malpractice Attorney for their Westchester or New York City offices. Ideal candidate will have 2 years of medical malpractice defense experience. Portables are not required.

Responsibilities :

  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Draft briefs, motions for summary judgment, pleadings, discovery
  • Draft reports to clients
  • Coordinate with and work-up expert witnesses
  • Participate in trial and mediation
  • Represent clients at courtroom appearances

Qualifications :

  • Must be admitted in New York
  • Must have familiarity and experience with NY Courts
  • Excellent research, writing and verbal communication skills required
  • 2 years of experience

    • Salary range 125k-185k depending on experience Comprehensive Benefits Package
