AWS Solution Architect | About You
As an AWS Solution Architect, you are responsible for designing and implementing innovative cloud solutions that modernize data infrastructures and drive business transformation. With deep expertise in AWS services, you will create scalable, secure, and cost-effective data architectures. Your experience in data migrations and cloud optimization will guide organizations through seamless transitions to cloud-native environments. You excel at solving complex technical challenges and translating business needs into actionable, reliable solutions. Your passion for data modernization and cloud innovation will empower you to deliver impactful results while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
AWS Solution Architect | Day-to-Day
- Architect end-to-end cloud-based data solutions using AWS technologies (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda) to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient systems.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their legacy data infrastructures and design modern, cloud-native architectures aligned with business objectives, enabling seamless cloud migration.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation, translating technical solutions into business outcomes.
- Manage and execute cloud migration strategies, focusing on transferring data from on-premises systems to AWS with minimal downtime and data loss.
- Continuously evaluate cloud-based data systems, optimizing for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency through best practices and innovative solutions.
- Implement and enforce robust security practices, including identity management, encryption, and access controls, to maintain compliance and safeguard data across AWS environments.
AWS Solution Architect | Skills & Experience
- 5 years as an AWS Solution Architect with expertise in Data Modernization, using services like S3, Redshift, RDS, Glue, Athena, Lambda, and EC2.
- Strong hands-on experience with data migration, automated pipelines, and building cloud-based data platforms (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses).
- In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud architecture and designing scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data solutions.
- Proficient in serverless architecture, big data frameworks, and streaming solutions (e.g., Kinesis, Kafka), with expertise in AWS Glue, Redshift, and EMR.
- Skilled in Python, SQL, and other languages for data manipulation, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with AWS analytics tools (e.g., Athena, Quicksight, SageMaker) and optimizing ETL pipelines and real-time data processing.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and proven experience working with cross-functional teams.
