IMMEDIATE job opportunity for a driven individual who has a proven track record of performance and desire to work for a well-established organization. We are looking for an experienced Sample Coordinator for an international distributor of home decorative accessories located in Panorama City, CA.
Objective:
This person will need to be able to travel to our showrooms in Atlanta, High Point, Dallas, Las Vegas for a week to two weeks at a time, twice a year. It would be nice if a candidate is bilingual but not required.
Qualifications:
2-3 years relevant experience
Advanced Microsoft Suite Skills, including Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Ability to independently organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Must be efficient with strong attention to details
Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
Job Responsibilities:
Follow up and track all proto styles with vendors and update tracker accordingly
Ensure that prototypes are in-house on time for all proto/adoption meetings
Create and maintain sample tracker for all salesmen samples
Work with teams and vendors to ensure all samples are booked
Collaborate with vendors to find creative solutions to improve execution and delivery date of samples
Receive, log and organize all incoming samples
Distribute samples to all cross-functional teams and pack/ship where necessary
Manage and execute all samples for special requests
Participate in the allocation meeting at the beginning of each season
Compensation: $22 - $25 hr. DOE
