Our Newest Opportunity:
The Application Developer will help the company build productivity applications for key business projects. He / She will apply development best practices, and design principles to create easy-to-use and maintainable business applications. The Developer will work closely and collaboratively with the Application Development team, and various business stakeholders, to support strategic initiatives. This position will collaborate with various business departments to execute a variety of projects to improves processes and create efficiencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Work with a product team to develop, test, and maintain business applications built on Microsoft technologies
- Design, develop, and test applications in accordance with established standards
- Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
- Package and support deployment of releases
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and within scope
- Able to focus on multiple projects concurrently
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
Core Competency Requirements
- Adept at crafting PowerApps and Power Platform solutions
- Exposure to Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Azure Functions,
- Demonstrate ability to lead and mentor in the ways of software development best practices
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable solution architecture for business needs
- Experience in using Agile development process
Competency Nice To Haves
- Exposure Microsoft .NET C#, and T-SQL
- Exposure to web development using HTML5, JavaScript, REST API
- Creating data models in the Microsoft Common Data Service
- Experience developing solutions that span multiple Office365 services
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Azure Services Development
Education, Training and Experience:
- College or university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 2 - 3 years of applicable experience
- Strong communication skills including the ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and to understand user needs
- Solid understanding of how to create scalable and maintainable applications
- Proven track record of creating easy-to-use and functional application with the users’ best interests in mind
