The ideal candidate will be a true insurance advisor, not just a transactional order taker. You will be responsible for managing a book of business and delivering an extraordinary client experience daily.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) : Manage a book of business of commercial insurance accountsDevelop and maintain relationships with clientsIdentify and analyze client needsDevelop and present insurance solutionsNegotiate and place insurance policiesManage client renewalsProvide claims assistanceDeliver an extraordinary client experienceQualifications, Skills and Requirements : 3 years of experience in business insurance sales2-5 years commercial account management experience, preferredStrong understanding of business insurance products and servicesExcellent sales and negotiation skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships.Strong customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompensation and Benefits : Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time offThe typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $70,000 to $80,000 per year.Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and / or annual bonus based on your individual performance and / or the company's performance.
