The Senior Accountant works with the Accounting Manager, and other members of the Finance team, on month-end and year-end close processes, account reconciliations and general ledger adjustments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Assist with the accounting for compensation expense, accrued expense, accrued liability & other accounts;
- Maintain and review various accrual schedules;
- Prepare journal entries in accordance with monthly tasks assigned;
- Prepare associated reconciliation of accounts and research inconsistencies during month-end close process;
- Work with internal and external teams to obtain compensation reports and related documents;
- Analyze and interpret the details of employment agreements and internally generated reports;
- Serve as primary contact for compensation accounting inquiries;
- Provide external auditors with documentation and explanations for annual audit;
- Assist external tax firm with documentation for preparation of quarterly and annual income tax schedules;
- Additional responsibilities assigned by management.
- Able to meet deadlines, and work well with others;
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Able to work independently and in a team environment;
- Able to prioritize tasks from various departments;
- Excellent judgement and problem solving skills;
- Takes initiative to perform research and propose solutions;
- Must be self-motivated, disciplined, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Business with emphasis in Accounting, required;
- Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or CPA, preferred;
- Minimum five years’ experience in Accounting, required;
- Must be highly skilled in use of Microsoft Office;
- Financial reporting experience, required;
- Basic understanding of GAAP, required;
- Experience with Dynamics GP, preferred;
- Experience with FloQast, preferred.
