Welcome to OneEighty a safe place, a source of hope and new direction. We’re a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in and around Wayne and Holmes counties in Ohio. We provide comprehensive addiction, domestic violence, mental health and behavioral health services and operate multiple care facilities throughout our service areas.

OneEighty is seeking to hire a full-time Intake Specialist Team Leader to provide support to clinical staff and ensure all client data is obtained and managed by providing information to clients about services and to aid in the full collection of service payments. This position will provide leadership to other Intake Specialists.

Essential Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides intake management of all new medical and clinical client's rights records, including:

• Gathering client demographics information and completing intake documents via phone, electronic, or in-person.
• Review services offered at OneEighty, assist with paperwork, and establish fee schedule and payment plans, as applicable.
• Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting client charges, and verifying insurance coverage monthly for clients.
• Maintains client accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
• Performs MACSIS enrollment with the Mental Health & Recovery Board day of client visits, if applicable.
• Protects client's rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Closes files in a timely manner.

Entering client data in Electronic Health Record (EHR), including:

• Adjusting clinician's schedules based on call offs. Group coverage will be determined by clinical manager/outpatient team leaders.
• Adjusting group rosters, as requested.
• Review of reports pulled from EHR to assist with electronic health record management.

Provides leadership to other Intake Specialists/Front Desk staff:

• Oversee coverage and scheduling of all Intake Specialists/Front Desk.
• Provides orientation and training to new Intake Specialists/Front Desk. Assists Intake Specialists/Front Desk staff with concerns and issues related to their job duties.
• Provides backup as needed, including:
  • Greeting visitors, clients, and staff.
  • Answering phones; collections of payment for "rent", clinical services, and donations.
  • Assisting with food cards, stamps, and petty cash from secure lock box.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent. Previous social work environment preferred.
• May not currently receive clinical services at OneEighty. If in recovery, must have two years continuous sobriety.
• Must be certified in CPR/First-Aid, or able to obtain certification.
• Must be trained in administering Narcan, or ability to be trained.
• Ability to use a computer; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with electronic health record preferred.
• Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality; able to maintain strict confidentiality under HIPAA standards.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Ability to multitask.
• Outstanding client focused skills. Ability to remain calm and professional.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Non-Exempt, 40 hours per week. Generally Monday - Friday, any time from 7:30AM - 9:00PM (some flexibility required). One evening shift (4:00PM - 9:00PM) may be required on a weekly rotation.

Immediate Supervisor: Client Account Manager

Location: Primary location Gault Liberty Center, some hours covering Milltown Professional Building and Millersburg office. Limited work from home availability due to projects and department need.

Pay: 16.00 starting pay. Increases dependent on education, certification and experience.
