Welcome to OneEighty a safe place, a source of hope and new direction. We’re a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in and around Wayne and Holmes counties in Ohio. We provide comprehensive addiction, domestic violence, mental health and behavioral health services and operate multiple care facilities throughout our service areas.
OneEighty is seeking to hire a part-time OVW Case Management Specialist to provide intake, assessment, and housing case management to Wayne and Holmes County residents fleeing domestic violence. This position will serve clients both in the community and in shelters; maintaining documentation, data collection and administering rental payments.
Essential Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide case management for Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) funding, including:
- Perform client intake assessments and safety planning.
- Determine client eligibility for programs.
- Perform ongoing case management with current clients.
- Maintain adherence to grant requirements, including: compilation of documentation, eligibility, and quality assurance measures; maintain progress notes and record-keeping, including logging and maintaining quality data and outcomes information.
- Provide referrals to additional community supportive services.
- Administer rental payments to landlords.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in social work preferred. Background in social work and knowledge of victim services, housing, and social service agencies preferred.
- May not receive clinical services at OneEighty.
- If in recover, must have two years continuous sobriety.
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and maintain a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing OneEighty's vehicle insurance. Local travel may be required.
- Must be certified in CPR/First Aid, or able to attain certification.
- Must be trained in administering Narcan.
- Ability to use a computer; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel. Collaboration platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, RingCentral).
- Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality; able to maintain confidentiality under all governing laws.
- Must maintain appropriate boundaries with clients as set forth in Agency Policies and Procedures.
- Must have written communication skills which support the ability to submit accurate documentation and effectively communicate.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Must hold a punctual and predictable work schedule.
- Must maintain honest, effective, and respectful communication with supervisor and co-workers, as well as a dedication to creating a cooperative and effective department.
Work Schedule: Part-time, non-exempt, 20 hours per week. Generally Monday - Friday, any time from 8:00AM - 5:00PM. Dependent on applicant, and determined at hire. Some flexibility required.
Immediate Supervisor: Director of Housing & Homelessness Services
Pay Range: $18.00/hour starting pay, increases dependent on educations, licensure, and experience.
