Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electrical Quality Test Technician to join our manufacturing team. From day one, this Electrical Quality test technician will collaborate with various business units to ensure that products go out in the field with zero defects for our clients, both nationally and internationally.

This position involves reading and understanding processes and technical drawings for all products, equipment, and structures.

Responsibilities:

• Verify machinery, safety, or quality improvements.
• Verify that documents are the latest Revision.
• Verify equipment leaving matches documentation.
• Communicates equipment design to clients and other design disciplines.
• Adequate understanding of GD&T standards.
• Participates in the preparation of design guides, guide specifications, and contract proposals.
• Participates in plant start-ups and field assignments as required.
• Participates in equipment inspections at vendors' facilities.
• Work in a collaborative team environment with marketing, project management, quality, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, agency/safety teams, and global manufacturing operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Associates of Science in Processes and Controls or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Intrinsic safety requirements and explosion proofing is a plus.
• Experience with hardware and safety circuit design for automated machines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, including cross-functional teams and multiple engineering disciplines.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
