We are seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Oneida Center in Utica, NY.
Job Summary:
This is a full-time or part-time opportunity to work in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Observing Residents: Monitor the health and well-being of our residents and report any concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Personal Hygiene: Assist with daily living activities such as bed baths, shaving, and dressing.
- Meal Service: Set up meal trays, document food and fluid intake, and serve nutritional supplements.
- Housing Maintenance: Make beds, keep residents' spaces clean and tidy, and transport residents within the facility.
- Patient Turnover: Prevent bedsores by turning bedridden residents regularly.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and facility data.
Requirements:
- Teamwork: Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
- CNA Certification: Possess current State Certification as a CNA and be in good standing with the State Registry.
- CNA Program: Successfully complete a CNA program and meet all certification requirements.
