Oneida County is accepting applications to fill a full-time Director position with the newly created Human Services Department. Oneida County Human Services is a Trauma Informed Agency that empowers, educates and supports agency staff to provide services in a caring, compassionate and safe environment.
JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Oneida County Human Services Board, the Director provides for the integration and coordination of multiple human services delivery systems. The work requires strong leadership, creative thinking, fiscal management and organizational skills. The Director leads and supervises the managers of the ADRC & Adult Protective Services, Child Protective Services, Child Support, Economic Support, Outpatient Clinic, Community Programs, Children’s Long Term Support, Birth-to-Three, Emergency Services, Financial and Administrative Services and other Human Service programs and services.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
A Master's Degree in the field of Human Services, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field and extensive experience in progressively responsible and relevant human service positions is preferred however a candidate with the equivalent combination of education and experience required to perform duties and responsibilities will be considered. A qualified candidate should be knowledgeable of management and business administration principles, practices and techniques as well as pertinent laws, regulations and practices pertaining to human service programs.
WAGES AND BENEFITS
The 2025 annual salary is $112,728 to $151,378 and includes an excellent benefit package, including Wisconsin Retirement benefits, affordable health insurance and a PTO (Paid Time Off) package with the ability to carry unused PTO into future years.
