Oneida Health is looking for a full-time Registered Nurse for our Tri-Valley Family Practice in Canastota. This position is responsible for coordinating patient care and performing nursing services requiring specialized judgment and skills in a fast-paced medical office environment. You will be supervised by the providers in the practice and may be responsible for providing guidance to Medical Assistants on occasion. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team while treating patients with kindness and consideration while maintaining clinic flow.

What Youll be Great At:
- Performing and recording key vital signs.
- Engaging with patients in preparation for a visit with the provider.
- Being a diligent note taker and reviewing medical records for completeness and accuracy.
- Communicating clearly with patients while preparing them for routine physical examinations, routine diagnostic procedures, and selected screening tests.
- Focusing on cleanliness and accuracy while preparing equipment and supplies.
- Accurately completing diagnostic request forms and scheduling patients for tests and appointments with outside facilities and specialists.
- Executing medical orders for specific drugs, treatments, and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
