What are the responsibilities and job description for the Offset Duplicating Machine Operator position at Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES?
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; OR
- Six (6) months of experience in the operation of an offset printing machine, or similar work: OR
- An equivalent combination of training and experience, as defined by the limits above. NOTE: Verifiable part-time and/or volunteer experience will be pro-rated toward meeting full-time experience requirements
- Civil Service position*
DUTIES This person operates an offset printing press; inspects printed copies for quality printing; makes minor repairs to machines. May operate xerography equipment and auxiliary pieces.
STARTING DATE As soon as possible
*Note: Unless you currently hold the title of Offset Duplicating Machine Operator, you will be required to take the Offset Duplicating Machine Operator Civil Service exam and be reachable on the Civil Service list
