Summary :
Works cooperatively with operations, engineering, and other DPW departments to ensure all Maintenance needs of Oneida Nation are being provided. Perform preventive maintenance on all Facilities for the non-gaming Facilities of the Oneida Nation as needed. Ensure high standards of safety are developed, met, and maintained for the Oneida Nation Facilities.
Responsibilities :
- Install, repair and perform preventive maintenance work at all Department of Public Works (DPW) Facilities, emergency devices and mechanical. Duties include, but not limited to inspecting fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, generators, building access, and facilities equipment.
- Complete assigned maintenance projects using Tribal equipment to include, but not limited to : building repairs, painting, building remodeling, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or electrical projects.
- Troubleshoot and repair of building systems
- Document repairs and Preventative Maintenance using the Archibus Work Order System
- Ensure short- and long-range planning for all Facility maintenance.
- Contribute to a team effort by working cooperatively with operations, engineering, zoning, and other DPW departments
- Assist with Custodial and Grounds Keeping responsibilities as required, to include, but not limited to shoveling, cleaning, removal of snow and ice, and upkeep of the grounds and buildings
- Working cooperatively and ensuring excellent customer service with all internal and external customers

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and / or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
