What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Design Engineer - Transportation position at Oneida Oneida ESC Group?
OES has immediate openings for a Senior Design Engineer - Transportation.
- Location: Wisconsin, Eastern Minnesota or Northern Illinois
- Expected Time of Hire: March or April Start Date
- Compensation Range: $95k to $125k (Negotiable based on experience and location)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery and budgets for transportation and/or civil infrastructure projects.
- Assist in the development of proposals and estimates.
- Provide design expertise and mentoring of other staff members.
- Oversee and/or lead the development of roadway design and plans for urban and rural highways and interchanges.
- Oversee and/or lead the preparation of environmental documents, miscellaneous design reports, and final PSE packages.
- Lead meetings with clients and the general public.
- Work cooperatively with other engineers and project managers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Experience managing WisDOT projects.
- Licensed Wisconsin PE or ability to obtain license within one year.
- Interest in transportation related design and construction projects.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with OpenRoads Design software
