Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Duties
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks in commercial and residential settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Execute custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain the appearance of flooring surfaces.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Ensure restrooms are stocked, clean, and sanitized regularly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of materials.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing all cleaning duties.
Experience
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or residential painting is advantageous but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
