Job Type: Full-time, Non-exempt

Work Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm. Assigned days and/or shift can be changed according to staffing needs. Must be available evenings, holidays, and weekends as required.

Work Setting: In-person

Location: Azusa, CA

Travel: Minimal travel; Required to travel by personal auto or company auto

Summary of Functions:

The OneLegacy Ambassadors Coordinator (OLAC) works closely with the Community Programs Supervisor (CPS) to coordinate the activities of volunteer OneLegacy Ambassadors as they support strategic community outreach to the Key Programs that influence and provide support to high schools, DMV field offices, hospitals, and municipal governments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

Coordinate Community Outreach Activities of Volunteer OneLegacy Ambassadors.

1. Communicates effectively and regularly to Ambassadors to ensure the highest level of customer service:Sends introductory emails and invitations to Ambassador Training Workshops.
   1. Serves as primary day-to-day point of contact for trained Ambassadors.
   2. Follows up after community events to thank volunteers, assess impact, and recover remaining materials.
   3. Mails birthday cards to all Ambassadors throughout the year.
2. Maintains the online database of Ambassadors and volunteer activity.
   1. Processes new online Ambassador applications and opens communication with applicants via phone.
   2. Updates Ambassador contact information as necessary.
   3. Processes and fulfills Community Event and Materials requests on a timely basis.
   4. Enters and maintains data via the volunteer database system to accurately reflect Ambassador involvement in all OneLegacy Ambassador activities.

Skills and Abilities:

1. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to deal with decision makers, the general public, and volunteers, both face-to-face and on the phone.
2. Ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision, exercise initiative and independent judgment, and make decisions within the scope of assigned authority.
3. Ability to initiate, prioritize and organize the work of self and others.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish required.
5. Ability to present to all different sizes of groups, from large to small with public speaking skills.
6. Ability to represent OneLegacy and Donate Life California in a professional manner.
7. Advanced Microsoft office skills, with heavy emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
8. Ability to travel throughout seven-county donation service area (DSA), including frequent activity on weekends and occasional overnight stays.
9. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information pertinent to donors, personnel matters, and finances

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two years’ work experience with responsibilities involving public relations, community outreach or public education is preferred. Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.

Certification/License: OneLegacy requires employees to maintain a current California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.

Equipment: Reliable automotive transportation is required.

Salary Range: $45,843.20-$52,083.20 Annually
