Job Summary
This position will oversee the daily operations of collection activities for assigned units, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and state and federal regulations.
The Collections Supervisor will monitor workload volumes, prioritize work efforts, and track calls made by representatives to ensure detailed documentation on each account. The primary goal is to lead and develop a high-performing team through effective communication, performance management, development plans, and recognition practices.
In This Role
- Provide complaint management support to Centralized Collections and serve as a single point of contact for EOCC complaints.
- Implement unit processes to optimize work methods and efficiency.
- Analyze reports, review files, and work actions to identify training issues, potential system problems, and enhancements to achieve goals while minimizing exposures by implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with IT to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure administrative oversight of quality and control measures for key operational areas.
- Work with Branch partners to foster and facilitate Branch/Centralized partnerships.
Requirements
- Four years of experience in collections or call center roles, with supervisory experience over a group of 5-10 team members.
Alternatively
- A High School Diploma or GED, combined with 4-6 years of supervisory experience in collections/call center roles, covering a team of 5-10 members.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English is preferred but not required.
- Experience in the financial services industry is an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills from an auto repo environment are preferred but not essential.
