What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dealer Engagement Specialist position at OneMain Financial?
OneMain Auto is currently seeking a talented individual to fill the position of a Collections Specialist .
As a Collections Specialist, you will perform recovery efforts to minimize losses on accounts identified as being delinquent. You’ll have a portfolio of accounts that you will locate and negotiate with customers to find an affordable repayment solution, enabling customers to free themselves of a headache and you to achieve your monthly goals. Having a consistent portfolio of accounts allows you to build and develop relationships with your customers and uniquely identify ways to help bring their delinquent accounts into a current status over time.
Location : Onsite in West Valley City, UT
Pay : base bonus potential
Schedule : Monday through Friday from 8 : 00AM-5 : 00PM and a rotating Saturday every 6-8 weeks
Job Duties :
Reviews and monitors delinquent accounts daily and maintains losses at or below established guidelines for assigned job duties.
Properly and accurately documents all account activities.
Initiates contact with customers in an effort to satisfy any deficient balances.
Makes recommendations to management of accounts needing additional attention.
Maintaining a positive and mutually beneficial cohesion within your team.
May assist other related departments as required by business needs.
Ensures compliance with Foursight’s policies & procedures as well as state and federal regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Required experience / education :
Customer Service : 1 year
High School Diploma or GED required.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Outstanding phone and negotiation skills.
