Software Engineer - Point of Sale

We are seeking a Software Engineer to scale our Point of Sale business where we provide affordable financing solutions for home improvements, elective medical, and other new categories. This is a growth business for OneMain, and a successful candidate will partner closely with 3rd parties, internal platforms, and business and functional leaders to develop end-to-end digital solutions to serve our customers and merchant partners. Our goal is to find an engineer with deep skills and experience in maintaining distributed systems and conversant in modern technologies/languages. Successful candidate will proactively apply industry leading practices and design trends including Agile, iterative delivery and cloud computing. Experience and proficiency with cloud platforms and patterns, preferably AWS.

• 1-3 Years of software engineering experience

• BS degree in a computer related field

Technology Required:

• A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience working with cloud based technologies.

• Experience and proficiency with cloud platforms and patterns, preferably AWS.

• Technical Skills:

  • Jira/Confluence

  • SQL skills

  • Python, test harness development

  • AWS, Azure competencies

  • Interest to develop

Target base salary range is $70K-$100K, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
