Hematology Oncology Associates was established in Palm Beach County over 35 years ago, and has grown to include 10 Board Certified Hematologist and Oncologists and 6 Nurse Practitioners in 3 convenient locations within our community. Our goals are to provide state of the art cancer treatments with a high level of compassionate care in a warm inviting environment. We also specialize in treatment of coagulation blood disorders, leukemias and other hematologic benign conditions. Job Description :
- Team Management and Supervision :
Lead and manage a team of patient care coordinators to ensure the smooth coordination of care for all patients.
Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication and efficient delivery of care.
Oversee the scheduling of patient appointments, medical tests, treatments, and procedures, ensuring all necessary services are timely and accurately coordinated.
Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, industry best practices, and organizational policies.
Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient care interactions and treatment plans.
Address and resolve issues or complaints from patients, families, or staff regarding care delivery.
