Description
We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to join our Thermal Media sales team. In the fast-paced, changing environment, the Business Development Specialist will be responsible for developing sales channels for new and strategic products, exploring new business opportunities in the current market, and supporting company's expansion into emerging markets.
The Business Development Specialist Will :
- Develop sales channels for new and strategic products by identifying, establishing, and cultivating relationships with potential sales partners and customers to expand the sales channels for company's new and strategic products.
- Conduct marketing activities for new business opportunities by identifying new markets, new applications and sales prospects as well as designing and implementing marketing strategies to generate leads and drive awareness of company's offerings.
- Collaborate with existing business teams on new sales channel development, working closely with internal stakeholders, including the existing business team, to align sales efforts, share market insights, and ensure effective integration of new sales channels.
- Negotiate sales terms such as price and delivery with customers as well as answering customer questions, resolving problems, and developing new applications through involvement with PC, Q / A, Research and Development, Customer Service and Marketing
- Market 3C Information Collection by monitoring and assessing thermal industry sales and marketing trends, customer product requirements and competitor offerings to recommend new sales, marketing and product development activities.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management which includes collecting and analyzing sales and market data to prepare detailed reports and presentations. Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare sales agreement and background information, then submit to Legal for review and act as intermediary to obtain contract terms that satisfy all parties.
- Forecast sales to customer, and prepare presentations and reports related to sales, activities, and expenses.
Qualifications
Education
Preferred
Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field.
Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field.
Experience
Required
6 years of B2B sales experience required. Sales experience in thermal media / label business highly preferred. Label business experience in a production, engineering, production control or QA / QC capacity can be substituted for some sales experience.
Industry experience in label, chemical, paper, and / or high-speed continuous manufacturing processes required.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and negotiation skills required.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.
Intermediate skills in Office 365 (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) skills. Ability to use pivot tables, and filters to analyze data in MS Excel, and prepare PowerPoint presentations.
Ability to resolve problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluations of identifiable factors. The ability to use "out-of-the-box" thinking to address problems to successful resolutions.
Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
