In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise in a dynamic and safety-focused environment within our Toner Department at the Lawrenceville campus. Contribute to our mission of being a top player in the office printing industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new product preparation plans, including investment analysis, equipment setup, and adherence to industrial standards.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance production efficiency, techniques, and yields for existing products.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost production performance and quality.
- Design and create drawings for fixtures, tools, and locally sourced parts.
- Support and engage in Kaizen activities across all manufacturing types, including preparation, filling, and assembly.
- Knowledge of multifunction printers and the electrophotographic process, as well as print quality evaluation, is a plus.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, identify root causes, implement solutions, and verify their effectiveness.
- Enhance existing production lines through engineering change requests (ECRs), engineering change orders (ECOs), and quick responses to ergonomic and safety concerns.
- Develop and revise assembly processes, troubleshooting procedures, equipment setup documents, and preventive maintenance guidelines.
- Prepare and present detailed reports with root cause analysis and supporting data.
- Create training materials for production and maintenance personnel on equipment usage and maintenance.
- Occasional travel to Baja Mexico (1 to 2 times per year) may be required.
