Job purpose

The Director of Marketing plans and directs all aspects of OneShare marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives. Identifies changes in the marketing environment or competitive strategies and evaluates, adjusts, or redrafts the organization's marketing plan subject to industry trends.

Areas of Accountability / Main Activities / Expected Results :

Area No. 1 : Strategic Implementation

Main Activities :

  • Work alongside the CRO to define and create the appropriate marketing strategy to target industry high points.
  • Oversee marketing communications and advertising, branding, events and experiential marketing, research and market analysis, and website design and content.
  • Provide market insight and industry awareness to help guide OneShare Health through competitive market trends.
  • Develop and track metrics and success criteria alongside the VP of Implementation and Project Management for all marketing programs and activities.

Area No. 2 : Operations

Main Activities :

  • Maintain infrastructure and systems to support the success of the marketing function.
  • Manage team KPI and tracking of resources within Workfront.
  • Identify gaps and areas within the organization that require marketing input and support and communicate those gaps for process development with VP of Implementation and Project Management.
  • Area No. 3 : Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Main Activities

  • Work closely with Sales Executives to develop and manage channel and partner strategies and programs.
  • Work with PMO, Product, and IT to develop cross-functional processes and workflows.
  • Serves as a senior leadership team member partnering closely with the chief executive team.
  • Area No. 4 : Digital and Social Management

    Main Activities :

  • Support CDO in the optimization of ad channels – Google, Bing, Etc.
  • Track monthly budget, spending and metrics month over month for all channels.
  • Update contacts / properties and lists in HubSpot as needed by CDO, marketing team and internal sales team.
  • Report metrics for each channel monthly.
  • Track sentiment across all channels, engaging with the compliance team on escalations and negative feedback.
  • Oversee ideation, scheduling and posting for all social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Update, revise and implement social strategy based on metrics and trends.
  • Report metrics for each channel monthly and for strategic partnership posts / events.
  • Boost social posts for added reach and engagement in alignment with monthly budget.
  • Setup, run and optimize social specific campaigns.
  • Area No. 5 : Community Management

    Main Activities :

  • Engage with online community and track sentiment across all channels, engaging with the compliance team on escalations and negative feedback.
  • Oversee referral rock program and track and send out payments via RR platform.
  • Monitor online company presence with listening tool (Mention).
  • Monitor professional review sites and track sentiment, engaging with HR on negative feedback.
  • Education / Certification(s) / Experience / Skills(s)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5 years marketing experience with 1 years in a senior management position.
  • 3 years of professional work experience in healthcare or related industry preferred.
  • In-depth experience leading marketing strategies for a fast-growing company.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of personal accountability, domain ownership, and natural curiosity.
  • Experience with video editing and / or graphic design skills, radio marketing, social media and web marketing, digital advertising, and press media.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Innovative, motivated, organized, high-energy team player.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficient.
  • Ability to establish smooth working relationships, resolve interpersonal conflicts, correct misunderstandings or errors and apply executive level staff etiquette in dealing with others.
  • Ability to perform a high volume of repetitious work and to work under deadline without losing accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Organized and able to prioritize work.
  • Ability to explain complex information effectively to members by phone and in writing.
  • Ability to make decisions independently, based on standard procedure or policy.
  • Travel and Time Commitment :

  • Travel will be required to work with members of the sales team at our various locations, ranging from 10-15%.
  • Some evenings, weekends, and overtime work should be expected.
  • Work Environment

  • Typically exposed to routine office noises such as printers, phones, and work interruptions via email, instant messaging, telephone and in-person.
  • Physical Demands

    Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
