Our client is growing in the exciting area of energy transition in the U.S. in carbon capture and storage (CCS). Our client is uniquely positioned with ownership and J.V. partner agreements containing actual physical/permitted assets that are being developed to make available CCS solutions for industrial clients in the U.S. Gulf Coast. In addition to having some very nice physical asset solutions to offer CO2 emitters, the company is very competitive in compensation, benefits including base, bonus, LTIP and full benefit package. This is a direct hire position and will report directly to the executive levels in the CCS division.
The Commercial Manager will collaborate with industrial clients in the Gulf Coast to partner on transportation and facility projects to solve their carbon reduction goals in the near and longer term. The C. Mgr. will work with a multi-discipline team to develop CCS projects and contracts through first injection and carbon credit reporting regulatory requirements. Functional ongoing efforts will be to identify and high grade industrial CO2 emitters that can serve as anchor tenants for CCS projects, introduce and maintain positive relationships with this customer/partner portfolio and being a central interface between customer partners and Sr. Management of our clients leadership.

Keys/Qualifications for Success in the role include:
- Bachelors in Business/Finance or Related field
- MBA highly preferred
- 10 or more years' of energy contract development exp.
- 5 years of midstream and or CCS commercial supply/trading and or processing exp.
- Proven ability to acquire, develop and maintain customer/stakeholder and or project partnership agreements
- Contract development of "first of a kind" and or bespoke specialty contract development
- Deep interest in growing personally in low carbon energy solutions niche
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Status required
- Houston based candidate highly preferred
