Looking for a Printing Press Operator for a Fortune 500 manufacturing company. This position is located in Osage, IA.
Responsibilities:
- Operating printing press machines including different types of lithographic machines
- Responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining press equipment
- Make necessary color corrections and/or press adjustments prior to the production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the work
- Perform all make-ready tasks associated with the type of press operated such as hanging plates or installing cylinders, examining plates/cylinders for imperfections and checks for correct positioning of images, prepping blankets, adjusting tension and register etc.
Required Skills:
- 3 years of experience operating a machine (CNC, mills, lathes or similar machines)
Additional Skills:
- Ability to read and follow job specifications to determine press set-up and materials
- Skilled in die-cutting and changeovers
- Skilled in flexographic machines or lithographic
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,920.00 - $76,960.00 per year
