Looking for Manufacturing Engineer for a military & defense company. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities:
- Working cross functionally with a group of mechanical engineers/designers, electrical designers/engineers to roll out manufacturing process's
- Point of contact for production development of products including shelter systems, ECU's, power distribution, and others
- Completing 3D/2D designs for fixtures, jigs, sheet metal, and fabrication
- Adding continuous improvement to the engineering team for manufacturing process's
Required Skills:
- 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- Proficient in product development
- Experience in jig & fixture design
- Skilled in sheet metal/Fabrication
- Experience in SolidWorks
- Skilled in a Lean background
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Additional Skills:
- Experience in AutoCAD for 2D & 3D design
