OneSparQ is looking for a Senior Electrical Designer for a company located in Roswell, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Apply electrical and instrumentation expertise to create construction design packages under general supervision.
- Design electrical systems
- Prepare detailed drawings for electrical system installations, including motors, controls, panels, wiring, and medium voltage switchgear.
- Assist in Electrical reviews of project packages to ensure quality procedures are followed.
- Review design estimates and work scopes for new projects.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of industrial electrical design experience.
- Experience using AutoCAD electrical (or similar)
- Familiar with NEC Codes and hazardous environments.
- Skilled in designing and modifying PLC-based control panels, motor control panels, and electrical schematics.
Additional Skills:
- Experience in the oil and gas, or water and waste management industries
- Experience with 480-volt power systems, lighting, raceway sizing, and grounding.
