OneSparQ is looking for a Sr. Platform Engineer in Cleveland, OH.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain platform infrastructure (hardware, software, and network) to meet business needs and industry standards.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize platforms for application goals.
- Manage and configure DevOps tools (e.g., API Gateway, Terraform) to support automation and deployment.
- Work with DevOps and production teams to update, troubleshoot, and maintain platforms for new features and services.
- Automate key platform processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth platform operations.
- Identify and mitigate security risks while ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Develop and enforce security and resiliency policies to protect infrastructure and meet regulatory requirements.
- Create technical documentation and high-level design reports as needed.
- Research and analyze user requests for system modifications or issue resolution.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee platform changes, updates, and integrations.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4 years of experience in platform engineering
- Kubernetes Expertise
- Experience with Java Spring microservices
- Comfortability with Azure or AWS
Additional Skills:
- Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator
