Job Description:
Labor and Delivery Nurses play a vital role in bringing people into the world. They care for women during labor and childbirth, monitoring the baby and the mother, coaching mothers and assisting doctors. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you'll prepare women and their families for the stages of giving birth and help patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have strong communication skills and be able to work well under pressure. You should also have experience working in a hospital setting and be familiar with electronic medical records.
