About the Role:
Labor and Delivery Nurses play a vital role in bringing new life into the world. They provide expert care to women during labor and childbirth, monitoring both mother and baby closely. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will prepare families for the stages of giving birth and assist with postnatal care, including breastfeeding support.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Provide coaching and support to mothers throughout the labor process
- Assist doctors with deliveries as needed
- Support patients with breastfeeding after birth
