Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist for a travel position at a hospital in Temecula, California. The selected candidate will work as part of a dynamic team to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Job Description:
- Work as a CT Technologist, performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT scanning protocols and procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and answer questions to alleviate anxiety.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, reporting any issues or concerns to the facility's maintenance team.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient data, including exam results and radiation doses.
Instructions:
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures related to patient safety, quality assurance, and radiation protection.
- Stay current with advances in CT technology and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of exams, minimizing delays and maintaining productivity.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of California.
- 1 year of experience in CT imaging, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Knowledge of CT scanning principles, protocols, and radiation safety guidelines.
