OneStaff Medical is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as prescribed by licensed physicians for diagnostic purposes.
- Operate various types of nuclear medicine equipment, such as cameras and scanners, to produce high-quality images.
- Position patients properly for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and develop effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Current certification or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or NRCNMTC) is required.
- At least one year of experience working in a nuclear medicine department or related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, as well as stand for long periods of time, is necessary for performing job duties.
