Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Primarily support the accounting and external reporting group with its monthly reporting requirement, as well as the preparation of financial documents required to be filed with the SEC and investor relations presentations.
- Projects would include organizing support, recalculating/ tying-out/ proof reading presentations/ financial statements/ other financial documents, and benchmarking disclosures and metrics against peer companies through review of other company financial statements.
- The interns would also get exposure to researching technical accounting guidance for unique and complex transactions and documenting internal company policies.
Required Education and Experience
- In pursuit of a bachelor's degree or graduate-level degree in a relevant business area.
- 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Junior, Senior and graduate-level students.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Previous internship experience is nice to have, but not necessarily required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, highly collaborative and cross-functional team setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite - PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.
