Service is everything!Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer to join our Consumer Direct / Call Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding senior homeowners through the reverse mortgage process, providing expert consultation, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. You will work directly with inbound and outbound callers to identify their needs, educate them about reverse mortgage products, and help them secure financing to improve their financial well-being. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced environment while helping clients achieve financial security.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide expert guidance to senior homeowners inquiring about reverse mortgage options, explaining product features, benefits, and eligibility requirements.Respond to inbound calls and conduct outbound calls to potential borrowers, converting leads into loan applications. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process.Assess client eligibility for reverse mortgage loans, complete loan applications, and submit all required documentation for processing.Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and reverse mortgage products to effectively educate clients and provide tailored solutions.Ensure all loan activities comply with federal, state, and company regulations, including the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) guidelines and other reverse mortgage-related standards.Assist clients in completing required paperwork, including disclosures, loan applications, and other relevant forms. Work closely with the processing team to ensure smooth loan progression.Work closely with the call center team, loan processors, underwriters, and other departments to facilitate a seamless and efficient loan origination process.Education and ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience as a Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer or a similar role in the mortgage industry, preferably in a call center or consumer direct environment.Must have an NMLS Originator licenseKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to obtain licensing in all states where licenses are requiredStrong understanding of reverse mortgage products (HECM), federal regulations, and underwriting guidelines.Proven success in the achievement of sales goals and performance metricsAbility to establish and maintain respectful and cooperative working relationships within and outside our organizationProfessional written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skillsAbility to perform duties with a minimum of supervision using good judgmentProven success in following up with customers and responding to customers' needs in a timely and professional mannerHaving patience and empathy skills in working with the senior market and their familiesCALIFORNIA JOB APPLICANT PRIVACY NOTICE REGARDING THE COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATIONThis Job Applicant Notice is designed to meet obligations under the California Privacy Act ("CPRA"), as amended by the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), regarding how CalCon Mutual Mortgage, LLC collects and processes personal information during the application and recruitment process.
