Driver

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver to join our team at Bosuns Marine in Mashpee, MP. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting Boats to various locations in a safe and timely manner. You will be required to operate a variety of vehicles, including Truck and Trailer Combo units, while adhering to DOT regulations and transportation management guidelines. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
• Proven experience as a truck driver
• Excellent driving record
• Ability to read maps and follow directions
• Knowledge of DOT regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to operate a forklift
• Valid Hydraulics License
• Boat operation and\or Captains license
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of vehicles, including Truck and Trailer combo units, to transport boats to various locations
• Adhere to DOT regulations and transportation management guidelines to ensure safe and efficient transportation
• Read maps and follow directions to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition

Skills:

As a Driver, you will be required to use your excellent driving skills and knowledge of DOT regulations to transport boats to various locations using hydraulic trailers. You will also need to use your time management and organizational skills to ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition. Additionally, your ability to read maps and follow directions will be essential to your success in this role.
