Description
Drivers safely transports and moves boats and equipment successfully throughout our locations. They contribute to the customer’s delight and satisfaction by insuring that the boats are in the correct locations as directed by management. The position is exempt.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely transports and moves boats and equipment as assigned, using Fork Lift as needed
- Follows all safety and compliance regulations
- Maintains company vehicle in proper condition, upkeep of logs/mileage/fluid changes
- Clearly communicates to management the schedule and timing of all assignments
- Completes all other tasks as requested by management
- Reports any damages or concerns about the boats or equipment to management
Qualifications & Expectations
- Valid Driver’s License, CDL preferred
- Exhibits positive and energetic demeanor in the work environment to contribute to Sales and Service team member objectives
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Demonstrates attentiveness when customers are on the lot, assisting as needed
- Promotes team attitude and supports other team members, departments and locations to insure the customer has a seamless experience through the sale, delivery, and subsequent servicing of the boat
- Preserves the professional image of the company while traveling
- Safely moves boats and equipment as instructed
- Positive interaction with all team members
- Experience driving trucks, Attention to Detail, Self-directed
- Lift 10 lbs infrequently, Standing, Climbing, Driving, and Outdoors
