About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver to join our team at Legendary Marine - Water Way Village (LMWV). As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting boats and materials to and from various locations in a safe and timely manner. You must have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with DOT regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
- Experience driving dump trucks and box trucks
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Ability to read maps and follow directions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with transportation management
- Experience with warehousing
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Experience with GPS navigation systems
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Read maps and follow directions to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and materials
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods and materials as needed
Skills:
As a Driver, you will be required to use a variety of skills on a daily basis. You must have excellent driving skills and be able to operate a variety of vehicles safely and efficiently. You must also have strong time management and organizational skills to ensure that all deliveries are made on time. Additionally, you must have the ability to read maps and follow directions, as well as maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Preferred qualifications include experience with transportation management, warehousing, and GPS navigation systems, which will be beneficial in this role.
