About the Role:
As an Equipment Operator at Caribee Boat Sales, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of equipment used in the transportation and warehousing industry. Your main objective will be to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials, while adhering to all company policies and procedures. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced, and that all safety protocols are followed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience operating heavy equipment in a transportation or warehousing environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in equipment operation
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and trucks, to move goods and materials
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced, and that all safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and productivity
Skills:
As an Equipment Operator, you will use your skills in equipment operation, maintenance, and safety to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials. You will also use your communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other team members and maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance. Additionally, you will use your knowledge of inventory management systems and shipping and receiving processes to ensure that all goods and materials are properly accounted for and moved in a timely manner.
