Janitor
POSITION SUMMARY
Janitors at OneWater are responsible for effectively and efficiently performing a wide variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, and all common areas including sweeping, mopping, dusting and wiping down surfaces.
- Empty trash bins and properly dispose of waste.
- Restock supplies in all common areas such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are organized and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues to the store manager.
- Handle all cleaning products appropriately. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
- Excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies & safe handling practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
