What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lot Associate position at Onewater Marine Inc?
Lot associates are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the lot where marine vehicles and equipment are stored for their respective OneWater Marine store.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties (Most Important to Least Important)
Assist with the organization and maintenance of the lot. Ensure all boats, trailers and other equipment are stored properly.
Safely move and transport boats and equipment as needed to support sales, service, and customer needs.
Conduct regular inspections of boats and equipment for damage or maintenance. Reports any issues to management.
Assist in preparing boats for deliveries. Support in the receiving and unloading of new inventory.
Demonstrates attentiveness when customers are on the lot, assisting as needed.
Follows all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the lot is safe for all employees and customers.
Partners with other team members to ensure operational and customer needs are prioritized and met.
Maintain knowledge, training, and certifications for equipment use.
Any other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
- Ability to operate forklifts, boats, and other equipment, or willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in a similar role or in the marine industry is a plus, but not required.
