Hours: Varies, including weekends and holidays

Job Overview:

Spend-A-Day Marina is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Marina Manager to oversee daily operations of our boat rental department. This individual will be responsible for ensuring a smooth rental experience for customers, maintaining a clean and safe marina environment, and assisting with various operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for boating and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Boat Rentals & Customer Service
  • Schedule and coordinate boat rentals efficiently.
  • Provide customers with clear instructions on boat operation and safety procedures.
  • Inspect boats upon return for damages and ensure proper check-in procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and well-presented rental fleet daily.
• Marina & Rental Department Operations
  • Operate the gas dock and assist customers with fueling procedures.
  • Oversee a small commissary within the rental building, ensuring inventory is stocked.
  • Keep the rental department and docking area clean, safe, and organized.
  • Maximize rental opportunities through basic social media promotion.
• Team Collaboration & Assistance
  • Work closely with other marina departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist in other marina duties as needed, including light maintenance and customer support.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or marina operations preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
• Basic knowledge of boating and water safety (training available).
• Comfortable using social media for basic promotional efforts.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
