Job Summary:
Captains Choice Marine Northshore is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Boat Salesperson to join our growing team. We proudly offer Barletta Pontoons, Cobalt Boats, and a selection of high-quality used boats in our brand-new, state-of-the-art showroom. In this role, you’ll guide customers through the boat-buying process while also leveraging social media to promote our inventory, generate leads, and engage with potential buyers. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their boating needs and recommend the perfect boat.
- Provide expert advice on Barletta Pontoons, Cobalt Boats, and used boats, including features, pricing, and financing options.
- Conduct test drives and on-water demonstrations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of our inventory, including new and pre-owned boats.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
- Work closely with the sales and service team to ensure a smooth buying experience.
- Assist in maintaining our brand-new showroom, ensuring boats are properly displayed and ready for viewing.
- Stay informed on industry trends, new models, and competitor offerings.
- Efficiently and consistently use our CRM system to manage leads, track customer interactions, and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Handle necessary paperwork for boat purchases, financing, and trade-ins.
- Create engaging social media content (photos, videos, reels, live tours) to showcase inventory, promotions, and the boating lifestyle.
- Engage with potential customers through social media, responding to inquiries and comments.
- Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to drive leads and increase visibility.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior sales experience (preferably in boats, automotive, or luxury goods).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for boating and knowledge of Barletta, Cobalt, and marine products.
- Ability to build rapport and close deals effectively.
- Efficient and committed to using our CRM system to manage leads and sales processes.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven.
- Basic knowledge of financing and trade-in processes.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Valid driver’s license (boating license preferred or willing to obtain).
- Experience creating and managing social media content (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Familiarity with social media marketing, analytics, and trends.
- Basic photography and video editing skills are a plus.
