About the Role:

The Service Administrator at OneWater Yacht Group plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department. This position is responsible for managing service requests, coordinating with technicians, and maintaining accurate records of service activities. The ideal candidate will facilitate communication between customers and service staff, ensuring that all inquiries and issues are addressed promptly and effectively. By streamlining processes and enhancing customer satisfaction, the Service Administrator contributes significantly to the overall success of the service department. Ultimately, this role is vital in fostering long-term relationships with our clients and ensuring their boating experiences are exceptional.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to type at least 40 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a service or customer support environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and service management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Experience in the marine industry or with yacht services.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and parts ordering processes.
  • Customer service certification or training.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming service requests and schedule appointments for customers.
  • Resolve minor customer complaints or escalate issues to the Service Manager when necessary.
  • Prepare and process work orders, invoices, and warranty claims accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including customer interactions and service history.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding service updates, pricing, and timelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of service reports and documentation for management review.

Skills:

The required skills for this role, such as strong organizational abilities, are essential for managing multiple service requests and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently. Excellent communication skills are utilized daily to interact with customers and technicians, providing updates and addressing concerns.
