Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Direct Support Professional at OneWell Health Care. The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for assisting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in their day-to-day activities, providing emotional support, training, and fostering a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Qualifications
- Experience in Human Services and working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities
- Training skills to assist individuals in building independence
- Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to caregiving
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
- Knowledge of person-centered planning and trauma-informed care
