Summary
We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team at OneWell Health Care. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities by providing compassionate support and assistance tailored to their specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals in daily living activities, promoting independence and personal growth.
- Assist with medication administration while ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Monitor and document vital signs as needed, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Implement individualized care plans developed in collaboration with families and care teams.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals receiving support.
- Support individuals in social activities and community engagement opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience in a group home or caregiving setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
- Experience with dementia care or hospice care is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
